A lot has changed for VICIS over the past couple of months. Innovatus Capital Partners purchased the assets of VICIS, Inc. and has formed a new company for VICIS. As we push forward and continue to provide the highest level of protection for athletes, we know many of our existing and potential customers have questions.

PRODUCT LIABILITY
I own a ZERO1, ZERO1 YOUTH or ULTIM cap: is my helmet covered by a product liability policy, according to the Safety Equipment Institute (SEI) requirements?

Yes. VICIS has secured a product liability policy that continues coverage of all VICIS football products.

Is my helmet still certified to NOCSAE standards?

Yes, as long as the product has not been altered after certification https://nocsae.org/certification

RECONDITIONING
Where should I send my helmet for reconditioning?

Continental Athletic Supply is our preferred partner for reconditioning the ZERO1 and ZERO1 YOUTH.  We have worked with Continental to assure they have appropriate testing equipment, procedures and replacement parts as needed. Please contact Continental to set up your reconditioning service at Sales@ContinentalAthletic.com or (800) 544-5564.

Can I get my helmet repainted?

Painting will only be possible in some cases due to capabilities, timing and color. Continental will inform you whether your helmet(s) can be repainted.

How long will it take to receive my helmet if I send it in to be reconditioned?

Continental will provide you with a timeline; in general, reconditioning at Continental takes 6-8 weeks.

What is the current warranty status of my VICIS helmet?

For products purchased after April 3rd, 2020, VICIS warrants (1) the ZERO1 LODE Shell, VICIS RFLX, and ARCH Shell to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of shipment, and (2) attachment hardware, jaw pads, liners and VICIS Eye shields to be free from defects in materials and manufacturing for a period of one (1) year from date of shipment, not including normal wear and tear.

For products purchased prior to April 3rd, 2020, VICIS will continue to warrant attachment hardware, jaw pads, liners and VICIS Eye shields to be free from defects in materials and manufacturing for a period of one (1) year from date of shipment, not including normal wear and tear or scratches.

Can I purchase a ZERO1 or ZERO1 YOUTH this season?

We are currently exploring opportunities to provide ZERO1 or ZERO1 YOUTH this season. Please keep checking our website for updates. If you are interested in purchasing a new helmet, please email info@vicis.com stating the desired product details (type, quantity, size, color…).

I NEED TO ORDER EXTRA PARTS AND ACCESSORIES FOR THE VICIS HELMET, WHERE CAN I DO THIS?

Parts will soon be available to purchase on vicis.com, no later than June 1st.

CAN I PURCHASE A VICIS ULTIM CAP?

ULTIM caps will also be available to purchase on vicis.com, starting June 1st.

WHAT’S NEXT?
